Human caused fire burning near Tohono O'odham Nation

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Elk Horn Fire burning near the southeast side of the Tohono O'odham Nation has burned 312 acres.

According to Inciweb, the fire is human caused and believed to be started by someone in distress who needed rescuing.

The flames are burning in desert brush and tall grasses. Due to the fire being inaccessible, heavy air resources are being used.

There is a total of 100 personnel assigned to assist aircraft.
