A fire in a home on Tucson's east side has displaced two people and four dogs, three of which are puppies.
According to a social media post from Tucson Fire, crews were dispatched to the house, near Craycroft and East Fifth Street, at just after 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
They reported a large column of black smoke in the area, and an involved gas meter and live power lines down in the backyard, upon arrival.
The fire was under control by 9:37 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
