Several Cochise County fire districts battled a fire that engulfed a home early Wednesday morning.
According to Willcox Fire Chief Dale Hadfield, the call came in at about 4:30 a.m. about a fire on Airport Road.
The fire started inside the house, Hadfield said. The cause is still under investigation.
One occupant was transported to the hospital. The status of the patient is unknown, Hadfield said.
Willcox Fire, Sunsites-Pearce Fire and San Simon Fire all responded.
