The Department of Homeland Security is investigating the son of a Pima County Sheriff's deputy.

Kevin Brant Anderson, the son of Capt. Gary Anderson, is being investigating for drug trafficking.

In May Kevin Brant Anderson was arrested at his home in Marana.

Court documents show that he was arrested after signing for a package containing roughly 1000 ecstasy pills.

Deputy Ira Sewell with PCSD provided KGUN9 the following statement:

The PCSD was informed by the Department of Homeland Security that they were investigating an employee’s son for drug trafficking and that our employee was not involved.

The PCSD conducted an administrative investigation which resulted in a finding of UNFOUNDED, as there were no violations of department policies/procedures or state laws.
