A man convicted of killing a woman in a hit-and-run accident last year was sentenced to serve 10.5 years Monday.
Joshua Ochoa, who was convicted of manslaughter, endangerment, leaving the scene after causing an accident resulting in death or serious physical injury and marijuana possession, also received three years of probation.
In September 2015, Ochoa hit and killed 38-year-old Marisa Robles on South Nogales Highway near East Elvira Road. She was walking with an 11-year-old girl who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police arrested Ochoa four miles to the south of the wreck.
