TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A newly restored neon sign was replaced Thursday along Miracle Mile.
The Riviera Motor Lodge sign was first put up in the early 1950's. Cook and Company Sign Makers took about a month to restore it back to it's original glory.
The sign was restored under a city program where the property owner pays 25% of the restoration cost and the city covers the rest. The program was established to save historic neon signs unique to Tucson.
