A hiker had to be airlifted to an ambulance Saturday after falling while hiking Bear Canyon Trail on Tucson's east side.
According to a social media post from the Southern Arizona Rescue Association, teams were deployed with a stokes basket, but a helicopter was requested due to the hiker's injuries.
The post said that Southern Arizona Rescue Association's services are always free. Injured hikers should call 911 and ask for Search and Rescue if needed.
