TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Rural Metro Fire, Pima County Sheriff's search and rescue and SARA crews responded to a hiker rescue near Douglas Springs Trail Sunday.
Rural Metro Fire says rescue crews responded to an elderly man who had a medical emergency, he was about mile up the trail, where crews brought him back down in a stokes basket.
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition, RMF says.
