The Cholla High School teacher accused of inappropriately touching a student was sentenced to three years of probation Tuesday morning.
The judge ruled Eddie Rodriguez does not have to register as a sex-offender, but if he violates his probation, he will.
The teacher made sexual contact with a 15-year-old student in October, according to Tucson Police.
She reported the incident to school officials who began investigating.
A police report shows there is surveillance video of the alleged incident.
