An Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter assisted the Rural Metro Fire Department with a medical emergency on Wednesday near Reddington Pass.
Fire crews were unable to get to the patient because of flooding.
The helicopter was able to get to the patient and transport him by helicopter to Rural Metro Fire crews.
After the helicopter landed the patient was transported to the hospital according to Jay Karlik of Rural Metro Fire.
