Health officials confirm new case of measles

The Arizona Department of Health Services is confirming a new case of measles in Arizona, bringing the total number to 17 cases. 

AZDHS says this new case is associated with the private detention center in Eloy and does not pose a risk to the public. 

There are 16 confirmed cases in Pinal County and 1 confirmed case in Maricopa County. 

Health officials say potential exposure areas include:

Sunday, June 5. 2016:

Sparkle Auto Spa, 1635 E Florence Blvd in Casa Grande, Ariz. from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Wendy's, 1127 E Florence Blvd in Casa Grande, Ariz. from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Walmart Supercenter, 1741 E Florence Blvd in Casa Grande, Ariz. from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 

Tuesday, June 7, 2016:

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 1140 N. Gilbert Rd #111 in Gilbert, Ariz. from 1:30 and 4:30 p.m.

Body Pro's Collision, 1508 W Scott Ave in Gilbert, Ariz. from 1:30 and 5 p.m.
