Hayden resident on life support after Las Vegas shooting

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - We are learning about a new Arizona connection to the Las Vegas massacre.

Hayden resident Jovanna Martinez-Calzadillas was shot while at the concert. She is now in critical condition and on life support. 

Martinez-Calzadillas was at the concert with her husband, an off-duty Salt River police officer. According to a leutenant with the Salt River Police Department, doctors are now re-evaluating her condition for surgery. The department has also confirmed her husband, Officer Francisco Calzadillas, was not hurt. 

Meanwhile, a Salt River police commander created a gofundme account. The money raised will be used to help with her medical expenses, possible future short term housing in Las Vegas and resources to take care of children.

So far, more than $56,000 have been raised.
