Green Valley Fire is working a large brush fire in Box Canyon.
According to LT. Pratt with Green Valley Fire, the brush fire has charred 1500 acres. They are claiming five percent containment so far.
Twelve people were evacuated. No structures have been lost.
Green Valley is working alongside six other agencies to put out the flames.
The cause is still under investigation.
