TUCSON, Ariz. — The North Sixth Avenue dog park opened after months of improvements Saturday.
The park closed June 10 for improvements. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate.

Council Member Paul Durham says “I would like to thank all the employees at Parks and Recreation for all their hard work, and to the park users who brought the condition of the park to our attention."
The improvements included a new sprinkler system, removal of dead trees, added lighting, added picnic tables, benches, and more.
