Gospel Rescue Mission hosts 31st annual thanksgiving banquet at new location

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Gospel Rescue Mission is holding the annual Thanksgiving banquet at a new location this year.

The banquet is set to be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the new H.S. Lopez Family Foundation Center of Opportunity on Wednesday, November 27.

Attendees will get to enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, rolls, pies, and drinks.

Gospel Rescue Mission says they served 2,458 meals last Thanksgiving with the help of the community,

This year the Gospel Rescue Mission is asking the community to donate frozen turkeys, and cans of vegetables, fruit, and cranberry sauce.

Donation are accepted at the Center of Opportunity, 4550 S. Palo Verde Road or at the Women’s Recovery Center, 707 W. Miracle Mile.
