John Goodman revealed on a night time talk show that he is interested in the Southern Arizona roadside tourist attraction "The Thing."
On "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday, Goodman spoke to Kimmel of driving weekly from New Orleans to Los Angeles. Goodman said that he has never looked at the mysterious object in the building, but still enjoys stopping there. He gave the building's Dairy Queen a shout-out.
The Thing, which is well advertised by billboards around the state, is located 17 miles east of Benson off Exit 322 on Interstate 10. The attraction, operated by Bowlin Travel Centers, is a historical museum that houses quirky oddities. It's also a Shell gas station. The facility recently underwent a 12,000 square feet expansion.
Goodman is starring in "The Conners," a "Roseanne" spinoff that airs Oct. 16 on KGUN9.
