PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say two golfers were stung several times by bees while playing on a north Phoenix course Wednesday.
Fire Capt. Danny Gile said the men were in stable condition when they were transported to a hospital "for precautionary reasons."
Azfamily.com reported that other golfers at Cave Creek Golf Course heard the men screaming for help and found them swarmed by bees.
The Fire Department said the golf course had called in a beekeeper to deal with the bees.
