TUSCON, Ariz. — Tucson police identified a motorcyclist who died in an eastside crash Tuesday.
According to the department, 34-year-old Christopher M. Wright died in a wreck at the intersection.
A white 2004 Buick SUV was going westbound in the left turn lane of Golf Links Road, waiting to turn south onto Kolb Road. Wright was riding a black 2008 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Golf Links in the curb lane.
The Buick made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, which had a green light, and Wright -- who was wearing a helmet -- was thrown from the motorcycle.
The Buick driver cooperated with the investigation. Police determined that speed was not a factor in the wreck. No charges have been issued as of Wednesday.
