Golder Ranch Fire District responded to a brush fire south of highway 79 near Milepost 95 Sunday.
GRFD says the fire has grown to 40 acres.
Fire now approx 40 acres. @GRFDAZ and @NorthwestFire working to contain the fire using natural fire breaks. No structures threatened. Smoke drifting E and SE.

There is light smoke that can be seen across the highway.
