Old Tucson Studios is Southern Arizona's movie mecca.
Since it was built in 1939 for the movie "Arizona," the venue at 201 Kinney Road has been home to more than 400 movies and TV shows. Stars such as John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Ronald Reagan all shot films there.
The studio, which serves as a sort of Wild West-style theme park, has recovered from a 1995 fire. Stunt shows, Old West-style shops and the seasonal horror-themed favorite Nightfall attraction all draw visitors to the park.
