TUCSON, Ariz. — The first fee-free day of the year for public lands is coming up, and it's a big chance for Arizonans to get outdoors.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, Jan. 20, 2020 you can get into any state park, national park, national forest, national monument and national recreation area for free!

That includes Catalina State Park, Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Saguaro National Park and many more.

Arizona residents will have to show a state ID at state parks on Monday, but national parks will have no restrictions.

Fees for other services inside the parks -- like camping, boat launches and special tours like the Sabino Canyon Tram -- will still be in effect Monday.
