After dropping for months, gas prices are on the way back up.
Just weeks ago, the average price for a gallon of gas was $1.52. Today that average is up 20 cents to $1.72.
The cheapest gas in town last week was $1.09 at the Arco at Campbell and Irvington. Today that station's price is up 18 cents, to $1.27.
Prices are rising most places. The average gallon of gas across the nation is up nearly 13 cents from a week ago.
