Labor Day is nearly two weeks away, and gas prices are creeping back up ahead of the holiday weekend.

AAA Arizona says a strong demand for gas is driving up prices.

Here in Tucson, the average price is $2.12 per gallon, which is 6 cents higher than the price was at the beginning of August.

Several gas stations around town have lower prices. those include:

Arco at Glenn and Oracle, Circle K at Old Vail Road and Nogales Highway, and Shell at 22nd and Sarnoff.
