TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking to catch two men who illegally killed a trophy mule deer buck Saturday.
According to the agency, the men -- on ehisanic and the other white or Hispanic -- were driving a white pickup truck with a white camper truck on canel Road at 5 p.m. that day.
"These two men deprived honest hunters of the opportunity to legally harvest what may have been a four-point buck or more," said Regional Supervisor Raul Vega of Game and Fish. "They are poachers, not hunters, who have stolen wildlife from the citizens of Arizona."
The agency is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the men. Both face up to six months in jail and a $750 fine, as well as possible civil penalties.
Those with information should call 1-800-352-0700 and use reference number OGT #15-003915.
