The Frye Fire burning 7 miles southwest of Safford has grown to 47,048 acres at 51 percent containment.
A community meeting will be held at Bonita Elementary School on Wednesday, July 5, at 6 p.m.
Stage 2 fire restrictions are in effect until rescinded by the Coronado National Forest.
The Frye Fire currently has 597 total personnel assigned, with 32 engines, 12 water tenders, and 8 helicopters.
The lightning-caused fire began on June 7th.
