TUCSON, Ariz. - The Friends of Pima Animal Care Center is turning to the community for help with homeless pets as part of Arizona Gives Day this Tuesday.
PACC is caring for a dog named Angie who came to the shelter with serious injuries. Angie had one of her paws amputated. She is healing well, but she is need of a prosthetic paw.
Donors to friends of PACC can help Angie get a prosthetic paw, and give to other pets in need just like her.
PACC cared for nearly 17,000 homeless pets last year.
Arizona Gives Day happens once every year for 24-hours of giving back to nonprofits across Arizona.
Anyone can donate through the Arizona Gives Day website.
