TUCSON, Ariz. - There's an opportunity to visit some of southern Arizona's best museums this weekend, on the cheap.
As part of the Smithsonian institute's nationwide Museum Day this Saturday, Sept. 22, 13 museums and cultural institutions are offering free admission for the day.
To participate -- find the museum you want to visit on the Smithsonian's website, download a ticket, print it out and bring it to the institution Saturday. The ticket allows free admission for two people, and only one ticket per email address is allowed.
And that's not the only free fun this Saturday -- Sept. 22 is also National Public Lands Day. That means free admission to Saguaro National Park, the Coronado National Forest, Sabino Canyon Recreation Area and more.
