Four men were arrested Saturday on multiple charges related to an arson that happened on the evening of Friday, April 15 in Cochise County.

Eighteen-year-old Devin Knable, 20-year old Ernesto Huerto, 21-year-old Elias Ortiz, and 21-year-old Dakota Compton were all booked into the Cochise County jail.

Ortiz and Compton are both from Tucson.

On Friday, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office and the Whetstone Fire Department responded to a fire in the 2000 block of North Bowers Road in Whetstone.

The sheriff's deputies located several single wide trailers, one double wide trailer, one garage, numerous vehicles, several buses, and various other structures on the property. Several of the buses, a garage, and other structures were fully engulfed in flames.

Whetstone Fire Department did not find any occupants in the home.

Investigators determined the fire appeared to be arson because flares and liquid accelerant were found inside the home.

Family members that were caring for the property arrived on scene and noticed several vehicles were missing.

On Saturday, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip about the people who started the fire with an address of where the suspects were located in Sierra Vista.

Upon arrival Deputies found a vehicle that had been stolen from the scene of the arson. Three suspects were at the residence and were arrested. Another turned himself in later at the Sheriff's Office.

According to investigators, the four suspects had stolen vehicles from the property and sold them in Mexico for drug money.

Each suspect is being held on a $50,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
