Former Tucson City Council candidate Jay Tolkoff was injured during an altercation with a burglar at his home.
According to Tucson Police, the burglar broke in on Wednesday at about 10 a.m.
Tolkoff found that the man had entered his home through a window. The two struggled. The suspect ran from the scene and Tolkoff sustained a laceration to his ear, TPD said.
The suspect has not been located.
