TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Vib’n, a local consulting company, says if you follow five simple steps, your chances of staying afloat will skyrocket.

In fact, Vib’n has helped more than 100 companies stay in business during the pandemic.

Co-founders Paul Mendoza and Hector Treto say the secret falls in going back to the basics.

“I think the routine got shattered when the pandemic hit, so everyone needed to re-strategize,” said Mendoza.

They say whether it be a big business or a solo-entrepreneur, there are five things you can do to help your business thrive during these uncertain times

“Re-looking at your business strategy. So, going back to your business plan. Looking at your finances whether it’s personal, because it starts with us. The third one is looking at your digital strategy. The fourth one is looking at your business as a grand opening, and then the last one is focusing on your community,” Treto told KGUN9.

“Those five points are the ones that helped us maintain our business and continue with our business through the pandemic...and you can implement them right away,” added. Mendoza.

While they say all five strategies are important, they assure one carries further.

“It all comes with community. The profits are just a result, but when you focus on people, people buy into that,” said Treto.

“When you actually invest yourself into the community, the community will invest in you,” Mendoza told KGUN9.

Though they say this won’t work unless you’re open to being helped.

“Let your ego go and ask for help,” said Mendoza.

That’s where Vib’n comes in, with free workshops-- in partnership with the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

It’s already helped companies like D&V Landscaping Services, Cleaning Circle LLC, and Humanity Hub.

“Our mission and our vision for our company has always been to help and give back,” Treto told KGUN9.

“And if we are able to provide a spark in somebody to change a behavior or to better their business or their personal life, that’s what we want to do,” said Mendoza.
