The Goodwin Fire burning 9 miles south of Prescott Valley has burned 28,336 acres.
According to the Prescott National Forest Service, the fire is 75 percent contained.
Planned actions for Monday include complete burnout and hold a line on the Northwest portion of the fire to prevent flames from reaching Breezy Pines and Walker.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
