TUCSON, Ariz — Tucson firefighters say it was a close call after having to send out a mayday while battling a mobile home fire on the south side Sunday night.
A 9-1-1 call came in around eight yesterday evening about the fire near Nogales Highway and Valencia that one person may be trapped inside.
During an initial search, fire crews had to get out because conditions were changing inside the home.
After getting out safely, they were able to go in again but could not find anyone.
At least one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
At this time, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
Fire investigators are still trying to find one of the three people who were living there.
