TUCSON, Ariz. — A fire that began in the Coronado National Forest Sunday night has been contained, the U.S. Forest Service says.
But as cleanup continues, Redington Road has been closed at milepost 1 Tuesday.
The fire is near Redington Road milepost 6. The blaze has burned 65 acres, but crews were able to stop its forward progress overnight. The cause is under investigation.
Fire engines and an air crew will continue work containing the fire and putting out hotspots through Monday, the U.S. Forest Service said.
