TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Fire responded to a two-alarm fire Tuesday near Grant and Stone.

The initial call was for a brush fire in the alley, but when crews got to the area, pallets, trees were also on fire, resulting in a nearby building being threatened.

"The firefighters immediately used the deck gun, a nozzle attached to the truck which puts out several hundred gallons per minute, but the fire quickly moved into the building," TFD said in a press release.

Windy conditions and downed power lines made the scene even more dangerous.

Crews fought the flames defensively, and eventually controlled the fire with the help of 40 firefighters.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
