TUCSON, Ariz. — Fire crews will manage a slash pile burn on Mt. Lemmon from Nov. 19 through 21.
The slash pile burn will continue from Nov. 25 through Nov. 26 according to the Coronado National Forest Service.
The Coronado National Forest Service says the burning will happen along the Catalina Highway and in Spencer Canyon and Whitetail Campground.
Officials say nearly 25 acres will be burned and smoke may be visible from Catalina Highway.
The pile burning is to reduce brush fires and wildfires.
Drivers traveling in the area are asked to use caution as firefighters and fire trucks will be on the roads, trails, and recreation areas.
Road closures are not anticipated.
