TUCSON, Ariz. — Rural/Metro fire crews have rescued an injured hiker on the Ventana trail Wednesday with assistance from Pima County Sheriff's Department and the Southern Arizona Rescue Association.
Per a Rural Metro press release, the hiker injured his leg while hiking and needed to be carried by out of the trail by medics in a basket.
Remember, if you plan to go hiking, be prepared and dress appropriately, and also pick a trail that matches your experience level.
