Lightning from Sunday night's monsoon storms were to blame for sparking a house fire near 22nd Street and Wilmot Road.
The Tucson Fire Department said multiple neighbors called 911 after hearing a huge thunder clap. The first fire crews on scene found heavy smoke, but when they tried to enter - they were not able to because of the amount of items blocking both the front and back doors.
Crews decided to break a sliding glass door to try and enter. They found the fire in the living room, where the fireplace and chimney are located inside that home.
No one was inside at the time and the resident was out of town. However, the Red Cross will be assisting those who lived there.
