TUCSON, Ariz. — It's officially pumpkin season in Southern Arizona!
While there are many places to get into the Halloween spirit, few capture the feeling of October quite like the Marana Pumpin Patch & Farm Festival.
Since 2011, the farm has continued to evolve into a fall paradise in the middle of the desert.
"I'm trying to give them what they see in a children's story book. You know with the red barns and the animals and the old tractors sitting around. So when they're reading a children's story book, that's the feeling that I'm trying to produce for my customers. So when people come here they respond to me and say yeah that's exactly what we feel like," said owner Jon Post.
The farm features all the fall essentials. From its 60 acre pumpkin patch to its family friendly corn maze, there's something to offer for ghosts and ghouls of all ages.
"There's something to do for everyone. I mean because we have the zipline and we have the pumpkin cannons and the jumping pillows and whatnot. There's something for everybody but I truly find that it's geared towards younger kids," Post said.
The festival starts on October 5 and runs through October 30.
