Police in Phoenix say they're investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a 72-year-old man dead.
They say the incident occurred about 6 p.m. Saturday near the area of 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
The name of the victim won't be released until his relatives are notified.
Police say the victim's body was found in the middle of the street and no witnesses have come forward yet.
They say the man was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Doctors say the man suffered injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
Police say their investigation into the fatal hit-and-run is continuing.
