One Tucson couple thought they'd never see their dog Shiva again. The 2-year-old pup went missing about a month ago. She was found first up in Quartzsite, AZ -- then brought all the way up to Folsom, CA. Putting that in perspective, Folsom is nearly 900 miles away from Tucson.
But tonight, Shiva came home, all thanks to one person up in Northern California, who paid $350 for the dog's plane ticket home.
Shiva's owner Kira Parra was speechless when she heard the news.
"We really didn't expect anything like it. It's really amazing," Parra said. "I mean, you just wouldn't expect it. It's incredible."
Parra and her family say they're thankful for microchip technology, and believe this wouldn't have been possible without it.
