After nine years, the family of Kay Read is still hoping to solve her case.
Mary Seagle, Read's sister, took the stand on Tuesday and directly addressed Luis Vargas who was convicted of her murder back in August.
"I forgive you. I don't want anything harmful to happen to you. I'm not going to let it fester and eat me alive. And I hope it doesn't you. And I hope your okay, and I would really appreciate, my family would, if you would just tell us where she's at."
Read was a local Sunday school teacher who disappeared from her home in 2008.
