Family of four missing after hiking on Mt. Lemmon located

A family of four that went missing after hiking on Mt. Lemmon has been located.

On Monday morning, a woman called the US Forest Service saying her father and brother took her two young daughters for a hike along the Butterfly Trail. They were last seen around 10 a.m. Sunday.

57-year-old William Swango, 27-year-old Ronald Swango, 6-year-old Riley Nash and 4-year-old Layla Nash appear to be okay after authorities were able to make telephone contact with the family.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department would like to thank the public for getting the word out.
