Family, friends, and dozens of fellow tow truck drivers gathered to honor the life of 58-year-old Danny Haro, who was killed in a hit and run on I-10 on June fourth.
A small mass was held for close family and friends at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Benson Monday morning. Benson's Police and Fire Departments led a procession from the funeral.
In Tucson, between 50 to 60 tow truck drivers from several different companies led another procession came to honor Haro and to raise awareness for the "Move Over" law, which mandates that drivers move over a lane when anyone is working on the side of the road.
The driver who hit Haro has still not been arrested.
