Sept. 25 is National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims and in Tucson, Homicide Survivors held the annual event at Reid Park.
Homicide Survivors says the purpose of this day is to focus on the impact of murder on families and communities, as well as ways to support and serve survivors.
At least 100 people attended the memorial to honor their loved ones. Families say the pain doesn't get any easier but events like these help to make the pain more bearable.
From just last year, 20 more faces were added to the wall of people who were murdered.
