SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — Martha McSally joined the Gold Star Families Memorial event in Sierra Vista Saturday.
It's an event that shines a light on fallen service members and their families.
More than 400 people showed up to the memorial.
Sen. McSally was there along with a medal of honor recipient, and the Civilian Aide to Secretary of the Army to speak on the sacrifices the late service member made.
The Joel P. Hocker Memorial Foundation donated funds to the commemoration.
