Emergency response agencies joined forces to study crime scene preservation and safety techniques.

According to a media release, dozens of representatives from local and federal law enforcement agencies, fire departments, emergency response agencies and local utilities were in attendance for the free training.

More than 60 agencies from across Pima County, as well as other state and federal agencies, were invited to participate in the simulation, which will focus on preserving evidence at the site of accidents or other public hazards, according to a media release.

Scenario focused on how to preserve crime scene evidence after a vehicle crashes into a power pole, bringing down power lines.
