Tucson voters were asked to increase the salary of the mayor and also increase the salaries of council members.
The amendment to the Tucson City Charter would increase the compensation of elected officers.
The proposition provides an increase in the present salary of the Mayor from $3,500 per month to $5,775 per month.
It would also increase the present salary of each of the members of the Council from $2,000 per month to $3,300 per month.
The yes vote is currently at 28 percent. The no vote is currently at 71 percent.
These are unofficial results from the Pima County Elections Department.
