TUCSON, Ariz. — An elderly 95-year-old woman in Sahuarita was rushed to the hospital after she was found floating face down in a pool Tuesday afternoon.
Rural Metro Fire says they got the call at around 2:30 p.m. When they arrived at the pool near Sahuarita Boulevard and Sahuarita Road, the woman wasn't breathing and had no pulse, and fire crews immediately began resuscitation efforts.
Rural Metro says her pulse was briefly restored a few times on the way to the hospital, where she is now receiving medical treatment.
In a press release, Rural Metro said that investigators found no indications of foul play.
