El Tour de Tucson is set to take place on Saturday and cyclists have only a few days left to get ready for their journey.
CEO and Founder of Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Richard DeBernardis, says ever since the tour began 35 years ago it has evolved.
"It's become an economic driver for this community. It raises 10 to 20 million dollars into this community. But its also become a fundraiser."
Organizers for the event say the tour is the largest cycling even in Arizona and they say they are expecting thousands to attend this weekend.
