TUCSON, Ariz. — A new eegee's restaurant is celebrating its grand opening this Friday by offering its signature frozen drinks for 25 cents.
The new store is located at 1530 West Grant Road and will open to the public at 9:30 a.m. on April 26.

"The newest location will have a drive through to improve convenience while offering the same high level of customer service and the same menu of high-quality food at affordable prices," the company said in a statement.
The restaurant chain was originally founded in 1971 and continues to be a Tucson staple to this day.

According to Director of Marketing Robert Santiago, this is the first new eegee's since 2015.
The grand opening will also feature prize giveaways and appearances by local media personalities.
The 25 cent drink special will only be offered at this location.
